Bondaii is an agnostic contact management application. It identifies and organises contacts in any device, pulling information from different sources including email, phonebook and social networks. The mobile application automatically syncs new data and stores it in the cloud so that users can access their contacts from any platform.
Its application is based on Near Field Communications (NFC), connecting phones that are near each other. When users allow their devices to be ‘bonded’, they can then share contacts and get automatic updates when someone changes their contact details. The startup is willing to extend their technology to other fields, using mobile phones as smart cards or as contactless payment methods.
Bondaii was founded in 2010 by Asim Bucuk, a Bosno-Croatian entrepreneur who raised funding after attending a ‘Ready for Equity’ event. The company launched its beta earlier this year and is now looking for further investment.
